Bolzoni Group invests in a new centre of excellence for machining operations

In response to the growing strategic importance of machining operations, aimed at ensuring the supply of competitive and high-quality products, Bolzoni Group is investing in a centre of excellence for machining operations by acquiring a majority stake in one of its key long-standing suppliers.
The company name is BOLZONI MACHINING S.r.l.

With a machine fleet consisting of 8 horizontal multi-pallet machining centres and 3 vertical machining centres, operating in multiple shifts under the supervision of specialized operators as well as on unmanned shifts, Bolzoni Machining S.r.l. becomes the centre of excellence for the machining phase for the Bolzoni Group.

"Thanks to this operation, we grant our customers a solid continuity of supply with excellent quality, optimizing manufacturing processes within the framework of Lean Manufacturing", says Paolo Dallolio, Corporate Purchasing Director Bolzoni Group. "Besides, this investment allows us to keep control on raw material management, increasing synergies." The acquisition was formalized on July 30, 2024.
